Foreign Trade Ministry Undersecretary affirms importance of adopting production for exports policy

Istanbul, Oct.24(SUNA)-Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Trade Nagat Hassan Salih hopes that the trade protocols between Sudan and Turkey would give preferential advantage to Sudanese exports. She uncovered that the trade balance between the two countries is in favor of Turkey, saying while the annual Sudanese exports to Turkey is around 10-20 million euros , its imports from Turkey is about 200 million dollars. The Ministry Undersecretary attributed the imbalance to Sudan's dependence on exports of traditional goods and exports of capital goods from Turkey. She affirmed to SUNA at the sideline of the international trade fair in Istanbul the importance of adopting production for exports policy, saying the trade fairs are vital for strengthening bilateral relations as well as for increasing of volumes of trade between the countries.
